Series ' Before there were 3 there were 2'
Carving 1: 'At the point of human enlightenment' made from a 226 year old piece of wood from Benjamin Franklin's house, approximately 4 inches tall.
Carving 2: 'She made a house of sticks and he moved the bolders. And when thy were through she laid her head on his shoulder.' Mahagony, 6 inches tall.
Carving 3: 'Before there were 3 there were 2', Mahagony, approximately 8 inches tall.
The carvings were made between 1985 and 1990.
